I do love listening to music.
An Amazon Prime playlist is always on in the kitchen from the moment I wake up in the morning until I finally close that kitchen door and retire in the evening. (Currently playing: Red Hot Chilli Peppers)
At first, I was sceptical about streaming music, but I was quickly converted to the wonderful world of digital radio and Amazon Prime Playlists. As an aside, it took me over a year to realise I’d been paying for Prime music and hadn’t been using it!
So I’ve been using this P2 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker since the summer of 2016 and what a snazzy little gadget this is!
It measures only 98 x 90 x 50 mm but it really packs a punch sound wise (even my sound engineer husband agrees!).
I’ve taken it out camping, out for picnics in the garden, I use it in the car now that our car speaker has decided to randomly switch on in the middle of the night and drain the car battery… it’s used in our home nearly all day every day, and has been for a year and a half!
It’s waterproof, which means it can be used outdoors but more importantly it means I can use it in my kitchen workspace without worrying about it getting splashed or covered in flour (as is wont to happen in a busy food bloggers’ kitchen!).
A full charge will provide 10 hours of playtime and you can connect with your device up to 10 metres away. My only gripe about the speaker is that when the battery is low it blasts out the most horrible beep saying “Plug me in RIGHT NOW!” and it’ll keep beeping every 30 seconds or so until you plug it in to charge.
These speakers retail on Amazon for £28.00 but at the time of writing are on sale for £11.98.

This fantastic speaker is exactly what my family needs/would love. Kitchen/dinner is my family’s mane entertaining place in the house where we really enjoy dancing. My little boy has discovered the twirling around; his latest dance move :). Also, nice weather is coming soon (so, I hope). How wonderful would it be to have the music on the go wherever we are making sandcastles at our local beach or just potter around the garden?! “Yes, please,” you hear us say :).
