Doodle Your World: Make it More #Ribenary!

This summer Ribena have launched a brand new app to make your world more Ribenary: Doodle Your World! This augmented reality app allows users to animate videos and photos with the playful Ribenary characters which you can then share on your social media channels.

The concept behind the app, built by Diverse Interactive, takes its creative inspiration from the pop-culture art movement known as ‘doodle bombing’, and uses the technology you might be familiar with from Pokémon Go!.

You might have seen the advert with its ear-worm tune on telly, if not, have a quick watch below.

With this free app (which is really simple and easy to use), you simply load the app, position your device to capture your world and select an animation to add to it. Press record and away you go!

We tried the app out recently on one rather fantastic Shetland summer’s day out mackerel fishing! We spent the day out on a friend’s fourareen and our youngest son caught not only his first ever fish, he caught four in one go! We headed to a nearby island to fillet and cook them for lunch, and if you watch the videos embedded below you can see the Ribenary Gangster Pigeon felt the oatmeal coated fillets could do with a bit of coloured grain added for seasoning, and Scardey Pipe made an appearance in the sea as our youngest operated an outboard motor for the first time. A fab day out made more colourful with the Doodle Your World app.
